Timing is Everything
Because we have several balloons, we can often accommodate you on short notice. However, we recommend as much notice as possible, especially for weekend flights. If you are traveling and going to be in the area for a few days, we always suggest making your reservation as early in your stay as possible. In the event the weather does not cooperate we will do our best to get you rescheduled during your stay.

Commitment to Safety
For safety we fly only on the calmest of conditions. The pilot has the final decision. Our record is unblemished and we aim to keep it that way. Mother nature is ultimately in charge, and she may require that you experience the joy of anticipation one or more times. For all her grace, beauty and power, she doesn't care about us on a personal level. Ballooning is a no whining adventure. Whining may void your certificate.

Motto: I would rather be on the ground wishing I had gone flying than up in the air wishing I had stayed on the ground.

Dress Appropriately
Ballooning is an outdoor activity, so don't wear clothes that you are too fond of. Hiking boots are perfect, sneakers are O.K., high heels don't fly (so to speak). It will not be noticeably colder in the balloon than on the ground.

Directions
Look at our map below, look at your map or call your scout leader.

To Quechee Vermont - 93 north from Boston toward Concord NH. 89 north to Vermont. Exit number 1, Route 4 West. About 4 miles across the Quechee Gorge to blinking yellow light. (you are getting close), Turn right down Waterman Hill Road, through covered bridge to the end. Go left onto Quechee Main Street and about 200 yards you'll see the "Deli" sign and turn left, park in the lot. We launch on the Village Green in front of the Deli and Post Office.

To Kennebunk Maine - Due to our proximity to the ocean we use 8 different launch sites and do not decide until just before flight time based on the wind speed and direction. All locations are easily accessible from exit 3 Kennebunk (mile 24) or exit 6, Saco (mile 33) on the Maine Turnpike (route 95)

Massachusetts locations - Again, we use multiple launch sites and make a decision the night before the flight and give directions at that time.
